ORGANIZATION HANDICAPS MIREBALAIS

Just like the sea, the world is an environment where all social strata reside. Nobility, Middle, and Deprived. The worst is that the latter contains many people living with reduced mobility and suffering exclusion of all kinds. In Haiti, the situation of people living with reduced mobility is becoming chaotic. Given the climate of insecurity, inflation, unemployment, etc., the situation of people with disabilities requires very sustained attention. To do this, many questions arise. Do they not have the cognitive capacity, they can be educated like the others. Don’t they have the right to good treatment? Hold hands with them in every way. Because they can think, have access to Education, work, build. They also need to feed themselves, have access to housing, and something to wear. Remembering these people is remembering Jesus Christ. Help them because they need your support. The Organization Handicaps Mirebalais (OHM) is a social organization founded on June 16th 2009 by Pastor Jean David Desroses , on behalf of the person with disability of Mirebalais center of Haiti . OHM consist 4830 handicaps members located on 32 localities from different communal section in the center of Haiti.

Activity

The Oganization Handicaps Mirebalais (OHM) has a free food distribution program , toilets for the persons with disabilities sponsored by some volunteers outside of the country . OHM is also providing some social assistance and and suitable materials like: wheel chair , crutches , cane , ect…

Education

As many one in the world recognize education is a best gift a parent can offer with a child . Rev. Pastor Jean David Desroses as a blind leader has established a free education program consist 200 orphans of which the majority of their parents are living with disabilities in the center of Haiti this educational program contains a sponsorship plan with an amount of $300 USD per year , this fund is used to pay teachers , medical care, drinking water , school supplies , food, cleaning and accessories. Brothers and Sisters in an humanitarian basic it is very important to put hands together with me for the success of this beautiful free education program to transform the lives of these orphans in Haiti. God Says “Walk by Faith , Not By Sights” and “The More You Give , The More You Receive”

Biography of the President of OHM

I am Pastor Jean David Desroses the president of OHM ( Organization Handicaps Mirebalais) i was not born blind but i have been hitted by a retina detachment in my left eye on 2008 i had a chance to find a pro bono medical care offered by Dr- Louis Kasner while of his charity mission in Haiti at double harvest hospital croix des bouquets where he has accepted to taking charge of my surgery at Center for excellent and eye care Kendall Miami Florida sofar , Dr Kasner has helped me with all the administration document to receive a Pastoral care at Baptiste Hospital and also to reach a medical visa at the Haitian Consulate embassy in oder to travel to Miami Florida for my first surgery on October 2009 due to the length of the Retina detachment the Dr. was not promoted as a total success of the operation because I had taken time to find a solution even before meeting Dr. Louis Kasner. Later on , i have met Alicia Montes Gracia we were planed to establish “FHF- Faith Humanitarian Foundation” in Haiti to support the more vulnerable children living in poverty . on January 2010 Haiti has hitted by an earthquake a lot of people become handicap It is for all these reasons that I had to establish OHM in order to promote the rights, needs and living conditions of people living with reduced mobility because there were more than 300,000 people victims of this earthquake in Haiti. Today I am blind I have had a lot of negative experiences with this society such as discrimination, excluded from this society because I am blind but I still had courage and strength with a lot of bravery thanks to the assistance of our Lord Jesus Christ . BE FAITH IN JESUS .
